One thing you should know about me: I’m a huge nerd. I used to think I wasn’t too obsessed (apparently I thought it was normal to have Lord of the Rings pez dispensers and a miniature TARDIS) but there is no denying it anymore. In the photo is an elvish brooch that my friend made for me on top of a copy of The Silmarillion, the little known companion to The Lord of the Rings.
I’ve embraced the nerd.
(By the way, the title is an insult in Elvish that I found among the common phrases. It means: “go kiss an orc.” I find it hilarious. I would have used this gem if it weren’t so long: Llie n’vanima ar’ ole a tara lanneina – “you’re ugly and your mother dresses you funny.” Those elves sure can be malicious.)
