About

Hello, there!

Since you have so graciously decided to take a peek into the depths of my humble blog, I feel that you deserve an explanation. This is a photography blog, plain and simple. I’m an amateur, trying my best to learn through experience. I suppose you could say this is a continuation of my old blog. I am a college sophomore living in Arkansas armed with a beautiful Sony DSLR, and loads to photograph.

This is where those photos end up.

Also, they sometimes wander over to my Facebook page over here, my personal website, or Flickr.

I just finished my new year’s resolution to take one photo every day for an entire year and am doing a similar project while I’m in Europe.

Anyway, welcome to yet another photography blog!

  1. Hi there, man! Love “almost doesn’t deserve to be called a camera but don’t tell it that”, and without going near Sony I know exactly what you mean when you say “now that one is very much alive” >>> so here’s a formerly dedicated film man agreeing with re just how wonderful digital is >>> go for it, my friend, go for it!!! Adrian

  2. hey! I think all of your images are so beautiful so I wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the very inspiring blogger award, all of the information is here 🙂 — http://mygoodmorning.com/2013/06/22/happy-summer-thank-you/

Wow Carly this is wonderful! I’m doing something similar as I learn the ropes too, though I never though to compile them into a blog! What a brilliant idea. I can’t wait to see more!

WordPress led me your way Carly. I was looking for nature shots, then I found your music work – very personal point of view – love it.
